Hey guys, recently I started to use tinder again and I feel like I match with some nice guys but almost am intimidated or put off by how good looking some of them are. I feel like I don't know what to say if their profile is a bit mundane and I usually leave them as a match for a while before messaging them, while people I would think are less attractive I would message almost instantly.

I also have a problem once they reply I start thinking that they are too far, too strange or not interested. It seems like there are no local girls on this thing.

I noticed that I feel like there is no point messaging the ones I would most likely approach in a club or bar because they will probably shoot me down. I don't really care about rejection as I have more important things going on in my life and I am aware that I always should assume attraction (especially after a match) so I always message them but I am not sure how to overcome this feeling.

For example, there was one hot girl who was talking to me a fair amount (quite a distance but logistically possible over a couple of hours) but I just lost interest because I thought I wouldn't have a chance when she met me and its too far anyway.

Does anyone else feel like this? I am trying to build self value and am ambitious but half of me just wants to focus on myself while the other half says go get some, stop using it as a buffer. How did you overcome it?
