I've been going back and forth over the past few months about taking TRP - was holding onto the comforts of being plugged in. Long story short, I discovered my girlfriend of 2+ years was cheating on me recently and cut her out of my life completely. Since then (it's been about a month) I've been realizing just what I've missed out on (I'm a senior in college) and have decided to swear off relationships for the foreseeable future. I'm ready to unplug and take the pill. No more bullshit.

I have been reading "The Rational Male" by Rollo Tomassi and although it's been a bitter pill to swallow, the more I read the more I understand. I'm glad that for the majority of my relationship, I did not compromise my frame and I understand now toward the end that I did to a certain degree, which clearly played a role in her cheating (in addition to her being a piece of shit, of course).

I want to change. I am going into a career that involves a lot of traveling (and lots of opportunities to meet women) and have one more semester left attending college in the fall before I graduate and I want to make it count seeing as I wasted the last three fucking years on that chick.

So, a few questions:

-How should I start? I'd like to jump head first. -I'm used to girls approaching me. I'm still confused by what game really is other than whatever I remember seeing about PUA on TV and their weird methods of picking up girls in bars? I usually only approach a girl if I find her worth the effort, assuming she doesn't come to me first. -From what I understand, frame is essentially your own rules - the rules by which you conduct yourself and your ability to not allow others (especially women) to make you do something you do not want to do. Could anyone offer a more detailed explanation?

I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions, but this is a start.

Thanks.
