I've been on a lot of dates recently and now I feel comfortable getting the girl to think about sex through innuendos, then kissing and escalating within a few hours.

All these dates have been on weekdays so far. I wake up early so I try to make sure we don't go beyond a couple of hours when we get a drink. While escalating, she says "she has to work the next day" and then I realize I do too so I tend to just back off calmly and let her go. I think I am messing up here by escalating too much or losing frame by conceding to her. I would appreciate some help with just doing enough to get her wanting more. For this situation, how much is too much and how much is too little?

I've even had instances where she said "text me" and doesn't reply later when I do. I think I get carried away while kissing and escalating without realizing I'm probably pushing the envelope if I'm not going for the same night lay.

When I get a chance to set up a date on the weekend, I will definitely push for the same night lay. At the moment, I think I get caught in two minds (aroused vs priorities) on these weekday dates, so I am not certain about how to reply or handle the situation.
