I didn't expect to make one of these posts, but I'd really like your opinions on my experience.

I messaged Joan on OK Cupid a few months ago. It took us 3 months to finally be able to meet up. She got out of work late and I told her to meet me at a river. We went swimming and I started the kino quite quickly. While walking back to our stuff I picked her up and carried her over a bridge. While on the bridge I went for a kiss and we started to make out.

With those positive signs I invited her back to my place to smoke. We played some music and chilled. I kept escalating and got some resistance, however I pushed through it and we ended the night on a blowjob.

About 4 days later I texted her again to hang out. I told her to text me her address so that I could pick her up. We played a game of mini golf and once again headed back to my place. Upon starting to make out, she said, "I don't want you to think that what happened last time will always happen." Thinking this was a shit test I said, "that's ok, I'll still have my fun." No matter how I escalated it, I just couldn't get her to escalate back beyond heavy making out. I took her home and we made out some more before going night. On the way back to her house she said, "It was really sweet of you to pick me up."

So, my questions are as follows. Why couldn't I escalate to the same point as our first date? Is it a bad thing that she called me sweet for picking her up?

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.
