Depends what date you are on? If you are doing first dates properly (haven't fucked her yet) you should be next to her where you can kino and begin to escalate. If it's an LTR or you have already fucked consistently, you can sit wherever the fuck you want to sit (remember you are alpha dog and alpha dog pops a squat wherever alpha dog wants to pop a squat)

Depends on the seating options. if the seating options are 2 on one side and 2 on the opposite side I'll sit across, if it's a square table with one swat per side I'll sit 90 degrees. The only time I ever sit side by side her is bar seating or sometimes on a double date.

1st date across and anything past that next to her. Is usually what i do. But Ive sat next to girls on a first that I have also fucked that night and also across. Dont over analyze this.. keep your game tight.

Ideally you would never have a traditional first date over a meal, EVER. Because they are lame as fuck and a death trap for awkward silences.

If you are sharing food/coffee with a girl, one rule I stand by however is that if the seating arrangement is across from each other and there is a wall, give her the seat with her back against the wall. She should get the view of the establisment so that she can look around a bit and isn't forced to put her attention on you 100% of the time with nothing else to look at without fearing she's awkwardly avoiding eye contact.
