Yes, by definition Frank Underwood is a cuck; a man whose wife has sex with other men. The dynamics of Frank’s and Claire’s relationship though is based on gaining power at all costs and if both have to have sex with other people to achieve it then it’s just the price they have to pay. Frank is no way a stoic or pragmatist.

Realize that this is a tv show and shouldn’t guide your personal behavior or beliefs though. Frank and Clair are written as extreme Machiavellian sociopaths. These types of personalities would not work in real life.

Same thing with guys idolizing Don Draper from Mad Men. Sure he looks cool with his slick back hair, cigarettes, great business acumen, and his lady killer game but that dude is a wreck.

TV is fiction. TV can show you a lightweight woman beat up dozens of trained male soldiers. TV can show you a guy who is alpha then beta then alpha then beta. TV can show you a beta guy getting laid like crazy, and a top-model alpha guy getting only rejections.

First of all accept that it’s fiction. Secondly, Frank is a machiavellian person. He and his wife will do anything to do gain power. He is doing something a cuck would to but the outcome is different. A cuck lets a man fuck his wife to satisfy his dirty pleasure, submissive mind and he wants to be over powered. But Frank does the same thing to gain power. He is actually cucking the other guy in return by being the president and ruling over him. It’s a different state of mind.

Frank is a bisexual sociopath. He’s far and above caring about being a cuck. Isn’t there a rule about discussing fictional characters? I know more than a handful of sociopaths in real life and they’re incredibly terrifying.
