That's going to depend on your personal taste. To me, the hot part is when I see her trying and struggling, but keeps trying because she wants to please me. A girl without a gag reflex is less exciting to me.

If it's really a big deal, make a t-chart. On one side put "stick with girlfriend" and on the other side put "break up with girlfriend because of blow job skills". Write the benefits and disadvantages of each and think about it.

One thing I will add though, is that typically in my experience, girls are very reluctant about blowjobs the first few times. Usually after about time 6 or 7, some of them will turn into blowjob monsters. I have no idea why. But many times I have thought to myself

"WHY the hell was she not doing this the first few times? Where did this come from?"

So if this is a new girlfriend and you haven't gotten very many blow jobs, I would say stick it out for a few more weeks regardless.
