Hey fellas,
Recently made this post https://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/6oy2ai/is_the_game_avoidable/ wondering if The Game was avoidable. I got the answers I needed, even if they weren't the ones I wanted.
My question? Now what?
I've read TRP basics, to be honest, a lot of those things I don't have a problem with. I'm inclined to plates, why not. I've built up my value as a person for myself, not for women. I've done things for me, because at the end of the day, that's what's most important. I have slight approach anxiety, but not much, it won't be an issues going forward. My problem, as I say in my old post, is that I have a huge problem turning girls that truly attract me into huge priorities. I get clingy and can't help myself from changing certain things about myself for them. I don't have this problem with all women, it's only the ones that I really desire. The ones that I meet that are HB8/9/or 10 that have intelligence to boot. I don't bother myself with girls I'm not attracted too, should I though? As a means to an end? I really idealize a LTR with a girl that I could call a friend as well as a lover, but I'm starting to realize this may be a fantasy and nothing more.
I'm truly not taking TRP to go out and slam a bunch of random bitches, because if I'm honest, the majority of girls I see on a daily basis are either ugly, overweight, unintelligent, or all of the above. I really don't think I'm picky, because it's just ridiculous the amount of unattractive women who don't believe body image is important there are in this country. I'm taking TRP because it's good for me. The dose of reality is necessary to separate myself from undesirable aspects in my life in more ways than just women.
That being said, I want to be able to lock the ones I find attractive down, and keeping it locked down until I see fit.
How can I overcome this clingy-ness, this habit of turning the girls I find attractive into huge priorities, and keep myself wanting to please them. It's legit ingrained in me by my parents to want to please them. I cherish vagina. How can you not care yet still care? It seems paradoxical. The more you care the less you get. The less you care the more you get. In my case, it seems like the less I care the more obvious it is that I care. Or more often than not, I literally do not care at all so I don't even bother.
Any advice?
