guilty. but theres a lot of valid reasons. people that come here NEED tough love. they NEED to be given the truth. when they come here pussyfooting around their issues and fudging their stories and thoughts, they need to be set straight. because they cant see themselves, or they are in denial, or they havent had enough people around them to put them straight. im totally harsh and to the point, this week 2 dudes inboxed me saying “no one has been this honest with me and when you put it that way things are obvious, Thanks” - yeah I know its obvious, youre welcome. theres other reasons too - Its funny, its humour, its part of the caricature here. lastly it is important because it shows you who is full of shit and who is actually internalising TRP. if i say “Wow you dont even lift but here you are complaining girls dont look at you like a dumb bitch so go and lift” and you say “well FUCK YOU! you are a rude person and this comment pissed me off!” well then you really havent learned the first thing about TRP which is FRAME CONTROL.

theres a lot of valid reasons. to put it simply, pussies come here because they are tired of being pussies and they want to fuck some pussy instead. if you cant handle some rude words online then youll remain a pussy for all eternity and people are gonna keep fucking you.

I’d say a small bit of both. I’m not confused I constantly push people to improve themselves, I enjoy the actual process more than the final result sometimes.

But the perception of this subreddit isn’t what you just said, whether it’s a mixture of rogue posters or misunderstanding on outsiders looking in, it seems to sway almost towards inceldom(?) and in no way do i mean to offend anyone I’m just speaking from my own perception because seddit offers that why the need for something else unless it has a different ideology? See perception is so important because if negative it can hurt what you’re trying to do even if it’s a good thing.

Granted though your definition of it is much better than what I had previously thought, and my wokeness so to speak is beyond finding women or anything like that. not to seem pretentious or anything I’m just no longer as interested as I used to be but for men who haven’t had that experience I can see why it’s so important.

The thing you have to understand is that outsider reporting is generally based on what articles have said, usually written by people with agendas.

For example anyone who doesn't agree that Trump is a flaming pile of orange dog shit is seen by a large swathe of the media as "literal nazis".

Replace Trump with anything that doesn't agree with the mainstream and all of a sudden you get "TRP - the bastion of women hating incel losers" which is so far from the reality it's ridiculous that it could be disprove with thirty seconds of reading.

The top posts here are literally "I'm feeling insecure, what do I do?", "I'm having relationship issues.", "should I quit my job to pursue a business?"

Essentially it's a symptom of a society of men raised by women lacking father figures and positive role models.

The majority of these questions are those that you would ask an older and wiser male, but because we're now several generations into a society that enjoys telling men how to be men so long as it's their definition of masculinity, places like TRP are the only areas where men can have frank discussions.

Somehow that is seen as revolutionary and threatening, because men who are emotionally strong and capable individuals mean that they won't kowtow to a society that tries to constantly put them in second place and denies them the right to a healthy identity.

I agree with everything you said that’s why I don’t follow mainstream media, I Choose to make my own decisions and I expect you’re the type of person who does as well. Strong men scare the powers they be.

The toxic masculinity thing really pisses me off because I’ve been saying for years how the pussification of men is an epidemic that’s going to be the sterilization of society. But as time went on I stopped being angry about it and tried to figure out why. Why is this happening

See I get 100% where the opposing side is coming from how masculinity can be perverted into this ideal that men are above women and they are property. I’ve dated many women who’ve been sexually assaulted or raped, it’s truly a tragic thing. And I think by figuring something out for that at the very least could be a step in resolving this.

See in society it’s all about me me me. But what if people started saying what can I do for you? What if and I’m making an assumption here, leaders of trp were to sit down with feminists and say look we need to work together to end sexual assault in an unbiased manner with respect to the majority of men who have never nor will ever do that. (How can WE help you?) and actually listen to them because people jus want to be heard. They’ll listen to men.

Well if we do that then things will change for the better more understanding less anger.

Right, and I agree with you here.

In fact I would think that most people agree with you in the subreddit.

I'm not particularly a huge fan of the "hur dur fuck chicks, get rich" kind of meme but it's understandable that men need to go through that in order to see that there's MORE to life than just having sex with hot women...

They need to see that first hand so that they can become unshackled from this idea that that is all they're good for (that and working a career to make someone else rich).

The thing is that unless men individually have their own shit together, then they don't offer society anything.

And that's really what it comes down to it for me - TRP is reality slapping men in the face and saying "hey, those 20+ years of your mum and your teacher coddling you and saying that you're precious and special because you're you is bullshit. You're a guy and you don't have the privilege of people giving you free shit because they want to fuck you. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you need to WORK for it and BE somebody that other people respect and ONLY THEN will you actually achieve something."

I've got friends of mine who are at various stages of this and trust me when I say that the level of neuroticism and selfishness that they display as well as their inability to deal with anything outside of their bubble makes them USELESS to society because they're still fawning over whether to break up with some girl who doesn't respect them and was caught red handed.

A lot of men need TRP as this slap to the face because the people who would traditionally do that - other men in society, their dad, older brothers, uncles etc. have been conditioned that this is "toxic" and/or they're just as clueless as the kid is. As you said; it's a down-wards spiral from there.

So yes, your idea of a utopia where people work together is a great one - I would argue it's far away however until society figures out that alienating entire generations of half of the planet isn't going to work out well for anyone.

Since as men we don't get to sit on our asses and wait for opportunity to be handed to us, the only thing we can do while society sorts itself out is to be responsible for ourselves and our personal surroundings (relationships, work ethic etc.) in the hope that by achieving the best that we can as individuals we, by definition, increase the quality of everyone around us... with the ultimate goal being the inspiration and exaltation of those people to their very best.

I'm not going to go into all of the different road-blocks because frankly there is plenty of theory on it already but if you are focusing on being your best by having the truth shoved down your throat and then multiple people mentoring you on how to improve yourselves (because they've been there and done that, even if they're not perfectly through it yet either) then naturally things will work out for you and be extension the women you date, the friends you keep around you and the people you work with.

The fact that anyone sees any of that as negative or dangerous or "incel" or whatever other attack word just shows that either they are afraid of the concept of people improving themselves because it reflects badly on their own lack of progress, or it's simply a testament to exactly how effective the 21st century mainstream brainwashing has become (man I feel ridiculous typing that phrase out yet it fits so well.)

Hahaha yeah I get what you mean - there's very much a divide between the PUA stuff now, thankfully; because personally I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't need to wear funny hats and use parlour tricks in order to be attractive. I used to live with guys who did this all day every day and frankly their lives were just sad and unfulfilling so whilst it's important to get an idea of how women actually work in the dating field as opposed to what they say they do (which is how most men get into trouble in the first place), it shouldn't be the be all and end all of your relationship "game".

In any subreddit of sufficient size you're going to have nutters and by themselves don't reflect the ethos or idea behind the community so I apologise if you've stumbled across them more often than not.

I also think that a lot of those people come in with anger and hurt because they're aware that something is truly messed up in the world yet they can't articulate why they're being "punished" despite doing everything they're meant to be doing.

This is different to the "nice guy" fallacy in that the incels take it to the furthest extreme, the irony is that there are a lot of valid points (nice guys finish last... being good doesn't mean you will have a good outcome, etc. etc.) and again, this was wisdom that was traditionally passed down from fathers, uncles and older siblings which simply doesn't get done anymore.

Anyway, the people who are worth listening to don't need to puff themselves up, and you'll find they mostly advocate for hitting the gym, meditating, focusing on your career, building stoicism and a strong grasp of philosophy and doing something with the very little time we have here on earth.

Really; that sort of knowledge can be applied to anyone (man or woman) but since there are already plenty of socially acceptable areas for women to get their "fix" from, this one is one of the very few areas for men.

You just have to look at what happened with TheRedPill subreddit, however, to see why people may be pissed off about how the world perceives them when most of the community have had nothing but positive experiences despite the few toxic/childish threads and comments around.

Anyway you seem like you're more than capable of finding your way through things with an open mind so here's hoping you find some value no matter how small.

I could tell you that we are animals that have evolved and the society we have created is not one based in truth or rationality but based on supplying those evolutionary needs. I could tell you everything you probably dream of achieving in life is most likely a result of such untrue structures and not your own. I could tell you that the rules are trully and purposefully designed to be broken. But you would tell me you already know, wouldn't you? TRP can only be swallowed when you have seen a glitch in the matrix, then for the first time what I've written up there will start make any sense at all.

The first chapter of the book you have been recommended is a good first strike to false assumptions you probably never realized you had (in particular the religious belief that there is someone out there you will match with).

That book is really a summary, not of what we believe, but of what we have liberated ourselves from believing. Neo don't believe robots exploit humans by trapping them in a computer reality, yes he knows so, but he understands all the layers in which the Matrix is just a lie, that those rules are also a lie, so much he can bend them. ( Might sound silly, but that movie is trully a good way of framing all of this)

I'm sorry but I can not summarize a summary and pretend I have not been dangerously misleading, if you want to understand you will need to spend time, either reading, or in forums (not Reddit anymore). If you want to start shattering your reality begginers mode YouTube "the red pill interviews" is shitty and you will understand nothing but it will show you there is something missing.

I truly wish you the best, you seem like just a guy trying to find balance by reaching to all sides and trying to get his own opinion. I was like that too.

Jordan Peterson's one persons opinion, who does not live through their eyes. I respect a lot of what he says but he isn't the Oracle.

Lastly, I'm not female nor naive. I wouldn't say overly religious but I also wouldn't say I'm agnostic. I believe in God. We need to believe in something other than ourselves. I think organized religion has perverted the idea of religion, and have long disassociated myself from them.

I think for myself, I listen to everyone's opinions and take suggestions. I'm not better, I'm not worse.

If i'm correct, and my last few days of reading has been understood then isn't TRP about bettering yourself as a man? and wouldn't that include being able to have a conversation with someone, genuinely listen to what they have to say maybe even research from their side, and then formulate an opinion?

I don't think having gratitude makes you a close minded follower, nor does it make you weak. I think if anything it has made me stronger and more confident in myself and the decisions I make in life especially the big ones.

Not me luckily, but those close to me. I don't believe women are evil and I honestly love being around them in general. With that being said, the current system we live in is set up to take money from men and give it to women.

My best friend's dad growing up went through a horrific divorce and ended up losing his job from the stress. Since he lost his house, job, car, kids, and pretty much everything of value he couldn't pay the court-ordered child-support and alimony payments and ended up being forced to go to jail for not paying.

Even as a kid it seemed like a screwed up situation, but it taught me a life lesson I will NEVER forget - NEVER GET MARRIED. Because you don't only marry a woman, you also marry a corrupt government with judges, lawyers, and other professionals hungry to get a piece of that sweet divorce settlement money
