Trust me. I read a lot of field reports about Tinder before I made a profile and started matching.

I matched with this girl and she seemed "normal". We talked on the phone twice to schedule a meet up.

I had the idea like you OP to not waste any money / time and just invite her right over.

I gave her my address and we set a time.

A few hours before, she asked if we could grab a quick bite as she hadn't ate all day. I said sure and we met at a Chipotle.

25 minutes later OP I brisked to my car, locked the doors, and blocked her number. It was bad.

All I could think about after that was how grateful I was that she didn't come over and that we met somewhere public.

Do yourself a favor. Don't be lazy and stupid. The least you should do is have her meet you somewhere really close to your house. Walking distance even. Give 15-30 minutes to gauge that she's not going to murder you in your sleep and then just lead the escalation back to your place.
