I'll give you an example. A few weeks ago I was hit up by an HB8 on bumble. She was a fit red head. We texted and flirted and I eventually got her number. We texted over the phone but told her I would get back to her the following day since I was going to a baseball game with some friends.

The following day I hit her up and asked her out to brunch for Sunday. I was hit with a "read" but no response. Whatever no big deal. She later hit me up apologizing and told me that she already had plans. I responded with "cool no prob". The following morning I asked her if she was free Tuesday evening for drinks after work. Guess what. She never replied.

Did I care? Nope, she did me a favor by showing me how flaky she is as a person. If she can be that flaky to a stranger she showed interest in then what do you think she would be like as a plate or a potential girlfriend?

The point is to not give a fuck. Don't try to get your happiness from other people. You will be sorely disappointed.
