First off, thanks TRP. Through utilizing many things learned here I am in a much better place with women than I was before, and feel I have come a long way.

Now, I am in an situation and would like some help.

Background Info

Ever since the beginning of the semester, I have been dating a girl who goes to my school. She is my first girlfriend and first girl I have been with sexually. I am pretty sure she assumes I have much more experience than I really do (thanks TRP lessons)

We usually go out on school trips by getting cheap tickets through our university (things like bowling and class trips and such).

The thing is, during the weekend she has gotten tickets to go to yet another one. I am not going to this one because I didn't get tickets and have an exam the next day I need to study for as well.

After we texted of this, she lets me know that she knows someone else who is going so she wont be alone. After I asked and assumed it is one of her girl friends, it turns out its a friend who is a guy.

I want to check here before bringing up to her and telling her i'de rather she not go and risk me appearing insecure. There were times in the past I held back strong reactions and feel I made the right choice. After looking back at the details, I feel I may be over reacting and coming off as insecure if I tell her to not go.

Here are the details:

-She mentioned this trip a while ago to me before and we briefly spoke of it
-Some days later she messages me to please get ticket ASAP. Then finds out they're sold out and she hopes I got one in time
-I tell her they're sold out, and I might have to do work that day anyways
-She says I can come anyways, just not the same school ticket price. I wouldn't do that though since commuting alone would be hell and I need to study that day.
-She mentioned guest tickets for a trip. I asked her if its for the one in question, she gave me a snarky text back saying "its the other trip, youre not going to this lol" I didn't like that comment.
-We are still both going on another trip on another day the same weekend and she told me shes still excited for that
-I already met her friend (the guy) that I mentioned earlier when we were on another school trip earlier this week. Pretty sure they(the guy and other girls) all know we are together. I am pretty confident that my SMV is higher than his as well.

So looking at the details, It seems pretty safe to say that its not like she is trying to sneak with him or vice versa, and when were all together on the earlier trip it didn't seem like he was trying anything with any of the girls. He is in their friend group.

Dread option: A female co-worker of mine invited me to a thanksgiving event at her school club. She said she could invite one "friend" and I told her I would let her know. After my gf told me she is going on the trip with her guy friend there, I accepted my co-workers offer.

The event my gf is going to Is a school trip with other students not just them two. I know the whole thing about not mate guarding and not acting insecure. We have been together for two months and I am starting to trust her more, but TRP says never trust.

Courses of action

  1. Am I just overreacting and I should just let her go and don't speak of it? Even with all the details showing it may not be a big deal, I may still feel stupid about letting her go as he's still a guy.

  2. Or do I tell her I'd rather not have her go to a school event without me if she is going with a guy friend? Keep in mind its a school trip with a bunch of other students as well

  3. If I bring it up, do I tell her about my co-workers invite to instill dread? I would not act like i'm trying to "stop" her from doing anything. More like oh you going with a guy friend here?, ill just go to an event with one of my friends who is a girl, she said she can invite one more she invited me.

Would appreciate some input
