This situation calls for a "soft next," but with minimal contact.

A "soft next" doesn't mean you have to pretend she's not in the room. That kind of "silent treatment" is a juvenile punishment. You're just withdrawing your time and attention and spending it where it will be more cost effective for you.

Stop initiating texting. If she asks why, just say "Just busy with work/school."

When she initiates texting, only respond to every third one and keep it short. "K," "Sure," "Maybe." "Soon"

Shit like that.

If she says she wants to meet up, give her a date/time. When the excuse comes back, "Some other time then." And stop.

Be polite, even friendly. But spend NO MORE energy on her than basic human courtesy calls for.

Just stop texting her, you're too busy. But when you see her with your friends, be totally cool and high five her and treat her like your retarded younger cousin. Cocky, funny, DGAF.

Don't act emo. Just stop responding to her texts and if she asks what's up just say "busy right now" and delete.

I personally don't hard next people texting me. I'll say "real busy right now, come over at 9pm later" and then I don't respond at all to anything else. I gave the command, they can jump or they can be ignored til the next time.

I’ve done this with someone recently.

I avoided even looking at her. Acted as if she didn’t exist.

She tried a few times to come talk to me.

I looked no expression. Got on a phone and starts speaking with someone.

Under no circumstance should you ever give her your attention ever.

She’s lost her chance.

Maybe she does have work, or she really is tired. Girls are wishy washy. Don't expect commitment to meet up like you would from an employee. Work a time out and meet up with her. If she says "we should meet up", she wants to meet up with you.
