Been with my gf for probably 3-4 months. She always tries to pick dumb arguments, is this just expected?

For example she was at my place she came over after drinking with friends I made her a drink in a wine glass...she spent the night.. she wakes up and accuses me of having another girl there because a wine glass was on the night stand. It was her wine glass from that night but she was too drunk and couldn’t remember 🤦‍♂️but I didn’t go explaining myself always DEER

She storms out then comes back in 20 minutes sitting on my steps not saying anything (it was like 35 degrees) I see her sitting there close to an hour then she finally texts me that she’s outside...I said what do you want and she says I left my jacket inside I grab it give it to her close the door and just say see u later not in an angry way

She texts me this

“I’m sorry (name). I feel really shitty for how I’ve acted towards you, you didn’t deserve that. You mean a lot to me... sometimes makes me act guarded because I don’t want to get hurt, not that it excuses making accusations like I did “

Should I hard next or soft next..if soft next should I still wait a week or two before I contact her even though she contacted me?
