Hi Guys,

I'm in a short-mid term relationship (approaching six months, could go long-term). I've been applying Red Pill to my life since probably March 2013; but my old ways still creep up on me from time to time.

My girl has been visiting family overseas for three weeks. I've been here, on my own plugging along. She's back in the country tomorrow and I am going to see her. Problem is; my week at work has been horrendous. My biggest client has made a pretty big complaint about me to management at the company I work for.

I am pretty stressed out about it; and frankly, worried this could result in me losing my job. I feel emasculated as a man - basically the client has said that I am not competent to perform my job, and if I'm honest, I feel like I am in a bit too deep anyway.

The old me would have loved to have confided all my stresses and worries in the girl I was seeing.. The red pill me understands this is an unattractive trait; she doesn't care about my problems, and I'll basically be burdening her with something she doesn't really care for if I talk to her....

I don't have many people to turn to talk with .. And I tried to go to the gym to take my mind off things.. I'm just worried about a) overcoming my difficulties at work, and b) maintaining frame with my girl while under so much stress. It's the kind of thing that's going to be on the back of my mind all weekend, but given that I haven't seen her for a few weeks I wouldn't mind spending time with her.

Any suggestions? Advice? I don't really know what I'm looking for ...
