Body language and tone, mainly. Judging someone usually happens without excessive emotion. It's just making a claim. Projection usually involves hyperbole and an exaggeration of the truth.

Projection isn't really the case with alphas like Donald trump or are confident and in control of their emotions. It's different when you say something from a position of dominance. People normally don't view it as projection.

Donald Trump is, in many ways, a loser. Sometimes he calls people losers because he won and they lost. Other times he calls them losers because he lost and they won.

Do not consider Donald Trump. He's playing a field that few ever do, at that point personalities and market overrides value and consistency or truth.

For you, for me, for almost everyone in the redpill thread save maybe five or fewer, projection is recognizable with hypocrisy. If they hate it and do it, they're projecting. If they hate it and don't do it they're judging.

This is even easier to recognize with active supply vs answering a question. yeah he talks about everyone behind their backs, can be projecting or judging.

If they volunteered it, probably projection.

If they answered your inquisition, usually politely, it's judgement. Especially if they don't continue to rag.
