Decent response. You could have definitely came up with a better remark though.

A good line would have been "they're the real deal, they got bitches around regularly."

Your line has an underlying sense of defensiveness to it that girls sniff out immediately.

Aloofness and a sense of amused mastery go a long way here.

In regards to quality It's a line from the lower end, no doubt about it, but sometimes that is enough. If she have heard the line to death from other guys already you didn't pass. if she didn't you probably pass.

The bigger problem I see here is the fact that you analyze such a trivial interaction after it happened.
