You sound young, so say something like “I do not see a future with us. I know you will find someone who will be your future.” Then leave as soon as possible. No need to linger or respond to her questions or promises to change to make it work. If you can’t pull this off, tell her its something she cannot change, like “I recently discvoered I have a fetish for women that are 6’5” or 4’5”.

My mother told me that the only time I could cry was if a bone was protruding from my skin or at the funeral of an immediate family member. It was great advise. Control all your emotions as much as possible when dealing with people. Focus them on actions, like lifting weights or sparing.
