I kept the title vague purposely.

Superior I work with enjoys the gym as much as I do. However, I eat much cleaner and am noticing daily results (I used to be a personal trainer). My superior eats fast food while I munch on a home-made salad next to him. I try to be a positive influence to those around me, so I talked about how it's sort of gross but easy to make. (Downplaying the work I put in to better myself) (The gross part is a lie)

I didn't really pay attention at first, but now I'm noticing subtle (and no so subtle) accounts of disrespect. I'm not doing things right, I don't have enough energy to keep up, etc. I'm new to the job so I'm doing my best every day. I try to do things the right way and put effort into it. I do my best not to appear arrogant, narcissistic, or vain. I'm tweaking my morning and lunch calories to have more energy while still cutting weight.

I'm also single and saving a lot of money I get from work, while they're going on trips and spending all their money due to a woman. I don't speak about money EVER but I feel an energy of "aren't you just fucking lucky, kid". I don't like it.

I work with this person on a team every day. I've read the 48 laws of power and understand I must down-play my successes and positive attributes. I need to do some more studying on this aspect of psychology and what better place than The Red Pill.

Please share your experiences with this phenomenon, I would love to hear more.
