What helps me is asking myself why I want her, as I have/had a bad case of oneitis but when I think about it, it’s not normal to be like that over someone, so what am I looking for, for example to make me happy, so I don’t feel lonely etc.

It always comes back to you, being happy with your life without anyone in it and doing what you love, working out, eating well, focusing on your purpose etc.

If your focusing on her then your looking for something that is missing within you.

You’re in a really extreme case of oneitis that is legitimately impacting your health. You need to pick up hobbies and activities to fill your time with, and also spend more time with men.

I would even go as far as to next this girl because you’re allowing your health to become negatively impacted. You need to learn how to properly deal with your emotions and keep them tamed, only revealing them to level-headed men who can listen to your problems.

Regarding reducing emotions, it’s as simple as not talking to her unless for logistics (if she’s a plate), or talking to her, but spacing out your texts significantly (if FWB or SO.) The level at which she is at is important when deciding how to act, as all require different amounts of investment. Speak less, coax her into investing a bit more than you do, then maintain it. If you’re fucking her, you’re winning, and that’s all you have to worry about really. Don’t give yourself alone time to overthink things if you aren’t aware of how to keep your emotions contained.

the answer to oneitis is always get more bitches. if you have a few girls then you won’t go crazy over the one.

dated a girl once. had 2 plates. i was content and didn’t give a fuck about them. soon as i lost 2 and was down to 1 i started getting needy and shit and being a bitch.

Possible case of oneitis. Just search how to solve it. Also don't show or tell her about your feelings and other stuff. She will start losing interest in you immediately.

This is starting phase of oneitis. You can of course get rid of it.

As you said, scarcity causes this situation. Think of how much you now about her. Think her bad and good sides. A similar girl can provide those to you.

You must become her alpha, meanwhile you become other girls’ alpha too. So when you attract other girls, you also attract her. There is no difference.

Overcome your oneitis and you will get the girl. You are an alpha male. So you can get what ever girl you want. But right now, she is not a girl but an angel-like creature in your eyes.

If you are having hard times, establish oneitis situation for another girl so you can get the current one.
