Hopefully next time, you notice the red flag more clearly/early and eject. You don't need full knowledge or a confession to eject.

Do not under any circumstances listen to this woman, give her closure, blow up on her....and of course do not consider being with her again.

If she knows that you will not forgive her betrayal, then of course she will deny it to her dying breath. She's also afraid of the social cost to her.
