You left the date with nothing more than a hug? How? That's how you start a date with a new person. Escalate next time. It feels awkward at first but just fucking go for it - no more of this hug shit at the end.

If you had at least tried for a kiss - at least you would know where you stand right now.

To answer your last question. Text her now if you want to. More importantly don't be needy. I typically wait a few days, unless I really want to do otherwise.

To echo the other comment.

She might not even be interested in talking again. This is tinder. She was looking to hook up. She got a hug. That's disappointing to her. Maybe she will talk again. It doesn't matter.

Don't let it phase you. Learn from your mistake and move on. To either the next date or the next girl. Either way it shouldn't phase you. Your course of action shouldn't be dictated by your past mistakes, only your future goals. If your goal is to fuck this girl, arrange the date so as to make that happen next time.
