  1. this is the Disneyfication of Reddit as the anti-Facebook in hopes of increasing their market share to universally appealing advertising campaigns.

  2. The very rp nature and values of TRP mods is in direct conflict with the subservience demanded and expected by Reddit of their mod community.

It's a fascinatingly meta case of independence, the right of free speech and self-identity being infringed upon in favor of the profit of private enterprise.

Honestly, it's ACLU and Supreme Court worthy imo.

A privately owned company can enact any policy they damn well please. There is no constitutional protection. The constitution protects your freedom of speech and expression from persecution and that's it.
