If from an app... Talk for a bit, make sure she isn’t brain dead or some other deal breaker for you and then ask her for her number... say something along the lines, “once all this blows over I am interested in meeting up with you. What’s your number?”

You get her number, switch to txts and confirm you will reach out when things go back to normal.

She doesn’t give her number that’s cool, wish her the best of luck in her search and unmatch/move on.

If not from an app and you are txting already, just tell her you are interested in meeting up w her when things calm down and then go back to your business until things calm down.

If it's your LTR then she'll probably be texting more than other girls.

Try to speak about ideas instead of your personal life.

If it's a plate, you don't have to text everyday.

For strangers, you don't have to text at all.

you can do it, but it's not something anyone should do for a date. if you have fun and enjoy texting, just text non-investing fun messages here and there and keep her from your mind. I have a friend who has a routine that leads to talking about sex, but he's smooth at it and he fucks during lockdown anyway. if you do it for the date, the key is low investment, because you don't want to spend all that time/energy investing in a girl you didn't even fuck. if you have fun texting, just text whatever. I myself hate texting, even with ltr's, but I guess some dudes have fun doing it
