Basically i know this guy who is a total beta. He self deprecates, he's chubby, insecure, mateguards and gets very jealous. He has a gf, who i know is bpd and she cheated on him. He forgave her and claimed they're "best friends" and now they are back together.

Now here comes the tricky part. The fact that she cheated shows that she has no respect for him at all. Even when he heard all the details of the cheating he still took her back.

Why do women want to be with a guy she has no respect for? After he took her back wouldn't her attraction for him dwindle down to nothing? I imagine that relationship not lasting long, but i just want to know what a female actually sees in a beta(except for emotional support and being not alone) or is it just a bpd thing where they just lure their victims back in?

Of course there are people who actually think taking back a partner after cheating is a good idea, but what do yall make of this situation?
