I recall most of the activity was the prettier girls throwing themselves at guys on the football team - it was hugely stereotypical. But those are the alpha males. All the other guys fall into beta, gamma, delta, sigma, or omega. Or lambda if you're gay.

You're kind of stuck working whatever magic you can and it's not easy. I went to college at 19, hated it, and dropped out. It's so much better as an older dude. Depends on what you want though.
