At first, I'm not a native speaker of the English language.

Me and my gf dating for about 6 month. Usually we spent the the weekends together but recently I got bored seeing her two days in a row so I told her I'm being busy with gym and other stuff today. She sent me a message that I should have fun in the gym but it sounded like she's not happy about that. I replied that she should prepare something delicious for dinner and I'm seeing her later that day at her place. She replied that I don't have to come if I'm busy with things that are more important than her. I think it's a shit test, so how would you guys handle it? Thought about replying something like: don't forget the dessert.
