Background: I met a girl a graduation party recently, and we seemed to really hit it off. Her, her friend, and I all talked for awhile before she had to leave, and she genuinely seemed interested in getting to know me.

She also was giving me a ton of compliments all night, even going as far as to compliment my skin (which I found weird, but hey I’ll take it). She also said she liked almost all the same music that I do.

I got her Snapchat and a couple of days later we talked for a bit. I finally asked her if she wanted to join me to go hiking sometime next week and she seemed genuinely excited in the idea of going with me, so I thought all was well. Unfortunately, she brought up the idea of bringing our mutual friend (the one who was holding the party) to come with us, and I (incorrectly and stupidly) said sure.

How should I proceed?
