I started to see a girl, and despite years of abundance mindset, I'm starting to notice dread and scarcity slip into my mind when I'm dealing with her.

Years ago when I was a student I had a vast abundance mindset. I was out and about seeing and meet new girls all the time, I even once had to kick one out in the morning so I could tidy up my flat for a different one coming over the same afternoon.

Nowadays however, my career path has taken me from the rich metropolitan city to a small town of 20,000 people. I do my best to go out 1 to 2 times a week, but the age demographic means I rarely meet people my age.

managed to meet an very attractive girl thanks to online dating. I approached it with the abundance mindset/out come independent mindset and enjoyed our first date. We couldn't have sex due to logistics, but I managed we managed it on the second. It been a long time since I've met someone I like that much.

When I was texting her yesterday, she took several hours to resound to one of my texts. When she did, I started to feel all of these negative thoughts begin to sneak. What is she was textng another guy? What if she did care about me? etc...

I know WHY this is, it's because I haven't been this close to someone in several years, and I'm scared more of the abandonment more than I am of being alone. I know the practical solution is to focus on other worthwhile things, including speaking to other girls and going out more, however, going out and meeting new people isn't as easy as it once was for me?

Any tips on what I should do?
