How to be more eager to work?

Take harder classes. It's counterintuitive but they waste your time less because the teachers don't feel like you need your hand held. Plus, it'll be cool to be smart there so you'll feel the need to legitimately pursue it. And chicks in AP classes tend not to be as slutty, which is nice if you want an LTR.

It might be my age talking, but now is the time to set up your future by getting the best grades and focusing on putting yourself through college and landing in a part of the world where you'll be the most successful.

TRP will keep you aware of pitfalls like shitty relationships in your twenties. When you hit your thirties, you'll finally be a Red Pill Man.

You want motivation though, then there's a quote from Trey Parker that stuck with me. Paraphrased;

"Work your ass off now, because it's so much more fun to party when you're loaded."

So, I had and still have motivational issues. For me it boils down to losing sight of your objective. I dont see it in your post, so I am going to assume it sounds like you havent set up an end goal for yourself. Much of the TRP teachings are about goals and without them you lose focus.

Much like you, when I was 16 I didnt know what I wanted to do. I was (kinda still am) a big computer nerd and played WoW (gave this up years ago) in my free time. I was very indecisive about what I wanted to do, but I really liked computers and I really like to design. So I looked this up and came up with computer engineering and computer science. It was a tough choice that I couldnt make so one day I just picked one, I chose computer engineering.

I went to college for computer engineering and was pleasantly suprised as to how difficult it really was. I slowly lost my focus and passion for computer engineering as college took over my life. I had to re-evaluate my choices and decide on an alternative after three years in college.

Another arena of design is the infrastructure and networking of systems for a company, which led me to IT. I switched to an IT focused degree and have a new motivation. I graduated after two years in the new degree and today work as an IT systems administrator.

Recently, I lost focus and motivation due to my job being very stressful and it was affecting my personal life. Again, I had to re-evaluate my goals and dig down and find that passion again. My end goal is network architecture and if you notice it all points back to that original desire to work with computers and design. Who knows, I may never make it to network architecture, but I have a goal and I am working towards it.

TL;DR: You have to set SMART goals for yourself and keep your focus, much like TRP teaches us.

When I was 16 I didn't have a car. So I basically would stick to the bodyweight plan in "convict conditioning". If possible, try and get your school gym. Also; try meditation. That shit revolutionized my life more than anything. If I began at the age 16 instead of 19, I would be in harvard rn

Learn more discipline. Get into the habit of working in a different place to playing. Don't work on your laptop in your bedroom constantly itching to play Counterstrike. Go to the library or a study group and work around but not directly with other people.

This stuff is hard, maybe you need to fuck it up a few times before you get the hang of it.... I know I did.

Just put your nose to grindstone and do it. If you're still in high school, it's only going to get harder from here on. Start developing the habits you'll need to be successful in college.

Video games are fucking toxic. It cannot be understated how bad they are. I tried multiple times over the years to kick them. I could never play a "reasonable" amount. I seem to have finally broken my addiction after discovering TRP. I don't completely understand what happened in my mindset, but I just have no desire for them anymore. I think maybe it's because I value my time more now.

Possibly you are intelligent and feel unchallenged by the world. You lack the resources to explore it and feel like there's no better use of your time, so might as well play.

Any other activity is better for you than video games, with the possible exceptions of doing really hard drugs or committing crimes. You can stagnate literally forever with games. They are designed for that. The dumbest thing you can think of will still help you grow, but not games.

Get the fuck away from the games. Do like 1-2 months with no games at all and see how it changes things. Be careful not to spend that time on the internet either - go outside! You will feel like you have all these terrifying hours with nothing to do. Do anything, doesn't matter how lame it seems at the outset. Everything will seem lame because games poison your cognition.

The world will not entertain you. You must use the world to entertain yourself. In so doing you will learn and grow, and find that there are countless things that interest you greatly. Before you know it you will wish you had more time for them.
