Met a girl at the bar Sat night. Gamed her for 2 hours or so. 9 years younger than me (24 and 33), probably about equal SMV. Got her number and had a very good makeout session in the parking lot. She gave me the "you better call me" bit.

Text her the next day. We exchange a few texts, then:

M: I have industry event at x casino on Thur night. Meet me afterwards and we'll see who can win the most at video poker in 1 hour

H: Haha I don't play video poker I play at the tables. I have a school function that night so I might be able to after depending on how late it runs.

(2 days later)

M: I want to have fun with you not take all your money at the poker table

H: haha okay

Still learning. Where do I go next to lock this meeting in? This casino is literally a mile from her condo.

Side note: I was talking to another girl I met at this last industry event. We went on a date and she shut me down for a kiss at the end. I waited a few days then asked her to hang out with me after this event (this was before I met new girl). She initially accepted, but then sent a text a few minutes later saying something like "unless I'm tired or my boss has plans for us after". I responded with "tell your boss you're tired and hang out with me". I havent heard from her since.

I'm pretty sure I'd rather hang out with bar girl who seems more interested (though other girl presents a challenge) as I was thinking of how to work this out I came with an idea. Seems a little beta though.

Text bar girl today that I found out I have to meet with a client after event, but only if client shows up to event. Tell her I would let her know shortly after event starts. This gives me opportunity to see other girl and gauge interest. Then I text bar girl and say client is there or not. Even though I may not even mess with other girl, this seemed like decent way to confirm date. If its not a terrible idea, I'm open to witty suggestions on how to text her a "we're on" night of event
