Since this quarantine started I've gone into monk mode and decided to cut out a lot of dopamine stimulating activities that were affecting my discipline, self control, and frame. Two of my biggest weaknesses prior to this were porn and nicotine. So far I've gone over a week without either, but find myself replacing them with other sources like junk food, etc. I want to stick to avoiding these vices and focus on my goals, but when I don't have some kind of dopamine source I feel lacking. How do I get over this? I've started focusing on replacing these negative sources of dopamine with positive ones like reading, cardio, etc. but sometimes the craving hits me and I feel a lack of power. Are there any specific types of meditation that would help with this?
