I do security also. Let me tell you my story. Back in 2017 I was doing gate access security at a gated community. I did this for maybe 3 years there.

One day a cute resident comes up to the gate and she asks "So when are we going out for a drink?"

Long story short, I was cluless about dating women since I just got out of a relationship. Her and I go out 4 times without any sex happening because I was too 'nice guy'. The last date she cringes when I tried to kiss her. I never contacted her again after that.

The next month I get another resident, hot blond, flirting with me at work. I get her number and I take her on several 'nice guy' dates where I'm too timid to make the move beyond kissing her.

I failed with both of these women who initiated with me.

I didn't fail to get laid because of my job, which pays minimum and these women knew it. I failed because of my inexperience.

These women DO NOT give a damn about your job or how much you get paid.

They just want some fun. If you're a secirity guard you have some status, maybe somewhat of a commanding presence about you. Just act like james bond and be friendly, a little cocky and funny.

Trust me dude, they don't care one bit about your job. I know this from experience.

Trust me because I used to feel like you. My self esteem was in the dumper after my relationship went south. But I continued to act like a 'James Bond' and sure enough unexpectedly I got hit on 2 times, by beautiful women who didn't care about my job or income.

I failed miserably with them but that story is for another thread.

Just act like 'Chad' or 'James Bond'. Act AS IF you're already banging 5 hot women. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Your guard uniform looks way better than a warehouse uniform or a chef coat. Act like you're the guard company's owner.

"I protect lives and property" said solemnly like a sperg invites eye rolls. Saying it with a nice dose of sarcasm implies it's just something you're doing to bridge the gap.

No idea why you feel this way.

Saying I work security is a lot "cooler" than plenty of other jobs. Chicks dig uniforms, badges, and authority figures. Just don't come off as a try-hard mall cop.
