I find that some of the girls I've seen text me a lot about mundane stuff like get-to-know-you questions and how's-your-day questions. I've even tried telling some of them (in person) that I'm not really a texter, so they don't expect that type of interaction from me, yet they continue to text...

I don't want to be an asshole and say "Why are you texting me? We're seeing each other in 3 days." Do you guys have any general strategy to discourage the girl from texting too much?
