About two weeks ago I hit up a girl I've known since elementary after not talking with her for about 8 months. I've been on a date with her last year but it never went anywhere because at the time I had no business even looking at girls until I worked on myself. Now on the other hand I have everything on track and I'm better than ever.

So two weeks ago I was catching up with her via texts. I applied some light teasing here and there, the text ratio was about 1:1. I asked her on a date on a friday and she responded sunday saying she was at a stagette and forgot about the text. I asked her to meet up on a particular day. She said she had a meeting for 7 that day. Being inexperienced/insensitive in the moment I asked her to meet up at 5 that day. She said it wouldn't work and that it would be too rushed and that we should try for another time. I responded with "Sounds good, no worries :)".

It's been over a week now and after working night shifts since then I now have free time and I want to hit her up again and ask which day she's completely free.

The question I have is how to package this particular text about logistics without coming off as needy or lame? I'm also drawing a blank for date ideas. I originally told her to join me for supper but that seems kind of lame. I want to go somewhere interesting, and she runs a gym business out of her basement so that's already a good location to escalate to later on in the evening.
