My situation: I'm currently a second year law student, what we do is have arrangements throughout the week with various activities, which often include alcohol. I am one of 5 people who are responsible for my group.
After being at a nightclub for some hours a girl in my group asked me to follow her home as she was not comfortable going by herself. I agreed obviously as a friendly gesture from my point of view.
After getting to her house, we were standing there talking for over 1,5 hours which could have continued for longer if I had not freezed to death.
I say it is time for me to go home, and I go in for a hug.
After 5 minutes I get a message from her saying" Thank you very much, again :) ".
I'm now in the process of becoming an alpha, how do I respond? I am actually interested in this girl because she matches just what I am expecting of a girl.
How do I not diminish my role as a "mentor" in this week, and also make it clear that I'm a little interested in her?
Edit: Words. Had a couple of beers (10), and don't type as well as I would sober.
