Is there a way to not let compliments get to your head? Recently went through a period of backsliding, (quit gym, wasted days with drugs and low quality women, procrastinated on passion)
Determined to not be that guy again, so put in work and starting to see a sliver of good fortune. People complimenting my physique, money and how well I conduct myself and all that bullshit
Which is cool. But being raised an only child, that kind of shit makes my head really fucking big. This is fine until I get some sort of criticism and I go back to step 1.
I know the usual stuff, don't let others have influence on your life type shit. Which is fine but is too vague.
Any specific advice on how to be level headed?
On how to take compliments and criticism with a grain of salt?
On How to not have a mental masturbation session when something good happens on life?
I just don't want to be distracted again (like I have been so many times) from the grind that I want to be on to make myself the man I need to be
