You need practice. Like, on yourself, on others, putting people in trance is not that hard, but putting that at work is challenging. Here's where the leadership skills that TRP promotes come at play, because the other person will have their guard down almost completely.

You need to be a master of your emotions. You have to focus rigidly your mind on a subject, otherwise the buildup becomes unstable and you lose all progress.

People get hypnotized several times per day, without realizing, by flashing bright lights, or shiny objects. The job of a hypno artist is to tap into that state and do something useful with it, whether it is psychoterapy or manipulation (or just a party trick).

Finally, I say it's a great thing sexually, but please have the decency to not try "putting girls under a spell". It's going to be a skill just like being good with guitar or at driving, and not a shortcut. Remember that reputation is a thing, and if you want to not ever get laid again, or even get restriction orders, try doing that, sure.

The bottom line is there is going to have to be a base layer of trust to hypnotize someone. Do not start with sex, start with mundane tasks like rotating a pillow or something. I would not recommend trying the sex stuff because of blah blah. I think it can be useful, a lot of girls want to be controlled a little bit and hypnotism is an excuse...'well i was hypnotized' 'well this' 'well that'. I think it could be good at a bar too-all of my hypnotism stuff is at home, you two should come check it out. I'm going to say that it's going to be a tough one to pull off for a new pickup.
