Learn to fight. You say you don't want to. Do it anyway.

You don't have to become world champ, but you do need to at least learn how to defend yourself because people will test you, even more so if you look like a nerd.

Any encounter you can walk away from with minimal or no injury is a good encounter. All that energy is better spent lifting anyways. Also they left and you were able to get on the bus. That's a victory. Yes, if a superior force concedes the field of battle then you win by default.

You don't need to see their blood run in the street. If you've read Sun Tzu's Art of War, one of the lessons is the general who is able to keep their force whole and able to win the war without fighting is better than the general who gets bloodied and wins in a 100 conflicts.

If you're in North America, some places are safe, some aren't. Know that the thin veneer of civilization is only enforceable as the response time from your local PD. That still gives a person or persons a couple minutes to royally kick your ass.

You were shoved all of a sudden. when? when the bus was there? before the bus, they were doing it for shits and giggles? These two dudes silent? You weren't paying attention to the people around you because you were too busy fingerfucking your phone? Why the fuck did they back down after you said it's cool, most times if somebody want's to lay the smack down, they will absolutely clock you in the back of the head with their fist.

If you haven't engaged in a contact sport, you need to. Football, rugby, mma, boxing or wrestling. Anything to get you use to being hit and to properly lessen the impact of those hits. Defense wins.

You don't get the real problem. The problem is your looks what people sees, bullies choose their target and you look like a target. I bet your glasses are round. Lift get a haircut, if you look high SMV people will naturally avoid fighting with you.
