Just keep at it brother. Anxiety, fear, reservation, all of these things bury deep into our psyche and take some time to remove. Push through and beyond whatever obstacles you come across and in time you will look back and See the growth, and change youve gone through. Tbh is anything its good you are hitting a roadblock, if anything focus on the issue and burn right through it with willpower and work.

Same here, i limited my social interactions recently so I have a hard time in using the right words when speaking, i struggle with my vocabulary when I am talking. Meanwhile i can speak well in English, but that's because i read everything (books, news, social media ...) in English and watch everything in English. You need to speak more. Find a Toastmasters club or a group which looks for speakers on various topics. Ask for help. "Screw up at full speed".

Talking is like singing. There should be a flow and measure to your words. 90% of a good joke is timing and rhythm.

You think about 10 times faster than you talk, and your mouth can't keep up with all the awesome stuff you have to share, so it gets tangled.

Watch comedy specials and learn the routines, repeat them, literally be able to "sing" them.

Really want to get good at speaking? Get a job in sales. You'll talk your ass off all day and be forced to tame that tongue. You end saying a lot of the same things over and over, and it's a good way to practice. Seconds on the toastmaster advice.

Hey I'm a stutterer since childhood and I tried everything out there to fix this problem and I never had success. I stutter even in my native language: Arabic, and any other language that I've learned, namely French and German. and English.

Bro I've struggled with thsi shit a lot. And only recently I realized that it's something passed on my genes from my father. I was kinda sad... but that's a different topic.

I need to say that nothing worked for me. I went to speech therapists, I studied phonetics and the science of speech production, but nothing pretty much helped decreasing the stuttering. Wanna know what helped though? Confidence. Ice-cold rock-solid confidence.

Here is how I overcame that shit. I can't say I am completely fluent, I still stutter from time to time, but it has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. Like a LOT.

Before TRP, I was beta, fat, and ugly. I had very low self-esteem and whenever I did or said, I was doubting it from the inside. I could never make my mind on something. Whenever I speak, I know that what I'm saying could not be the right thing and I stuttered.

I had my close friends who're more than glad to sit for hours listening to me repeating the same syllable, but I wasn't happy and wanted to decrease that shit.

So I went into a mild monkmode upon discovering TRP. I studied nutriotion and metabolism and started working out. I found a good part-time job and started dressing better. Then I figured a nice haircut and now I look sharp most of the time. But what really helped me the most was losing weight. I lost 10kg in the course of 5 months and everything about me changed for the better. My face before this used to be round and ugly, now it's chiselled and decent. Like now I have a face to encounter people with.

With this, people started noticing me more. Paying more attention to what I'm saying and actually agreeing to it. Girls give IOIs, my game got tight, and I was really doing a great job. I started a youtube channel and a blog I'm writing on and my SMV skyrocketted. Easy as that. With this, the stuttering decreased a LOT. I used to stutter like a bitch in my presentations, now I get the feedback of teachers telling me that it was more like a lecture than a presentation because of my fluency and how relevant the information was.

Look, it's different from one person to the other. I once met a guy who looked much much better than me, had a sick tattoo on his hand, jacked af, and 6 feet tall. Yet he was stuttering. If I had his physique, I'd be drowned in pussy every night, but that's not the goal of this comment.

You should figure out what's making you stuttering. Maybe your command on English language isn't that good? Heck, maybe you can't even speak your mother language properly? It happened to me after licing abroad for 1.5 years, I completely forgot how to speak Arabic lol.

Now I broke up with my ex and my confidence is so low. I'm failing shittests from girls all the time and I am less decisive and gained some weight, got a shitty haircut cuz the barbber fucked me last time, and I am stuttering again.

For me, it's confidence, easy. For you? Look within yourself and figure it out. But basically, start working on yourself and try improving your SMV and figure out soooooooo many stuff that you want to do with your life and it should be easier.
