I'm in a club and engage a group of girls. We exchange names and have a fun short conversation. Later that evening I see the girl that seemed to be the most interested again and get some shots with her. I jokingly said she owed me one as we paid the first round earlier. We had a fun time, but as soon as I asked for her number she hesitated and said I should give her mine (this is usually a rejection for me). I typed it in and immediately called myself to get her number. She was smiling and complimenting me for that "smart move".

Now she's not replying.

I don't get it. Everything was fine, but as soon as I try to make some steps forward she takes huge steps back.

This has happened a few times now with different girls.
