I don't know how to find a mentor

Sometimes it’s hard with that type of life. Hard to find people in the military or contracting positions you look up to.

I feel similar as I’m in the Guard and not a lot of people understand the type of life it is. Dad wasn’t in the military and can seek advice but not necessarily a mentor.

I feel the best with doing things my own way, it’s difficult not being told when to eat, sleep, piss and sh*t 24/7, much less what direction to go in life.

It’s hard to make the best decisions possible with the goal of success immediately, you have to go through and learn and fail. Keep a few guy friends around who you can trust and redpill as well.

A mentor will tell you what steps you need to take to reach an attainable goal that you yourself are already aware of. By the sound of it you don’t know what to do at all.

I had no mentors for a long time, then I joined a really good martial arts gym.

After which I had more mentors then I knew what to do with. I attribute so much of my growth to those men.

Men in positions of power love to mentor young guys that shine with potential. Stand out from the rest and mentors will adopt you.
