PUA is dudes trying to figure out attraction while selling products. A lot of the time bad theories go into the making of those products.

Awkward silences are bad early in the interaction (what PUAs specialize in) because girls need to feel like there is a natural chemistry between you.

They're less of a problem later on when attraction has been already created, then it shows you're confident with silences and don't need to fill them with small chat.

The only thing that is "outdated" in PUA is the canned lines that girls have already heard... that and the technology that has evolved. You wouldn't ask for an email address like David DeAngelo did at the time because it was hot tech.

People here say it's outdated because they don't like PUA even though they haven't bothered reading it, and need to find something bad to say about it.

Evolution is mostly slow, grand strategy doesn't change too much, but conditions on the ground and tactics change all the time.

10 years ago, smartphones were just becoming an (expensive) thing and phone apps still were nonexistent.

And books are written by individuals with their own ideas. Even scientists disagree all the time.

That's because Pua advice isn't infallible Infact you have to be very careful when reading Pua articles/books or else you will be misled, try to stick to trp approved Pua sources

Things work in certain situations and not others. You have to test things out and see what works for you.
