I've been lurking TRP for a while and find that I already do or believe quite a few things that are listed here. I lift, and am in very good shape. I have a very stoic and almost emotionless personality because I had a very alpha father. I am also very good-looking, and have been told so and have been with many women.

This issues despite my pros are tenfold. Financially and career-wise I'm screwed. The biggest issues is a criminal record I attained a few years ago. While I was in school for engineering, I got kicked out because of it even though I was one class away from finishing. Since then, I've held down various jobs but most of them will only give me part-time. Besides that, I have no other skills. The only things I'm good at are lifting/nutrition, engineering, and playing competitive video games (at least decent enough that I win money at tournaments on the side, and decent enough that I get called into gaming companies to do play tests every once in a while for extra income). But besides that, I almost has no will to want to do or learn anything else because I feel like it would be a waste of time considering how this country treats people in my situation.

The other thing is that I'm terrible with women. But wait, I said above that I've been with a lot? True, but that is until I start talking more and they find out I am a failure. Every girl I've dated complained that I don't have money and I'm not successful, but it didn't appear that way because I dress nicely and we go back to their place instead of mine. My game isn't that strong either, but girls approach me more often than I approach them. I don't do a whole lot of talking, and instead get them to talk about themselves (and neg them occasionally over things they say), which has worked out so far. But beyond getting girls to talk and negging them, I don't have much else to say or offer. I once had a longish-term plate who told me she thought sex with me was not interesting, not because I sucked or anything, but because I wasn't rich or powerful. TRP straight from the horses mouth. Literally the only reason she continued to be my plate was because I was good-looking. Eye candy or trophy guy if you will.

So, I figure I can read more of the side-bar and practice for gaming women, but I haven't had a huge need to practice so far because of my looks. My biggest issue is my career and my record. There's so much I could do, but the effect would be minuscule compared to someone who is totally clean. Can anyone give me some pointers on what I can do? I don't want to be a failure and, of course, I'd like to make more money and be successful.
