I'm currently reading book The subtle art of not giving a fuck, and this has really opened my eyes.
Mark Manson did a good job in describing wrongly set values – despite being very succesful in the world of metal, Dave Mustaine, from Megadeath, is not overall satisfied with how things turned out. It's due to the fact that his values were set like this: ''become more succesful than the guys who kicked me out''. Unluckily for him, those guys later became Metallica. That's why he's dissapointed.
It's nearly 3 months after my exLTR left me (which, to be fair, is a blessing in disguise). I left my blue beta self, etc etc. you know how the red-pilling process goes. Here comes my problem: all the self improvements I'm doing, all the lifting, getting an FWB and bunch of other shit is to prove her she made the wrong decision (in the long run of course, I was hell of a BP idiot).
I can see this is extremely wrong, since who knows if I'm going to bang HB9s, if I'm going to make more money than her, if I'm this and that. I like that I'm becoming a better person, however I don't like the motivation behind it. Does it all really just come down to having abundance mentality, in order to change this?
