My dad is a natural alpha.

He is usually always in control of every social situation he is in.

He is assertive, confident in what he says and extremely charismatic.

Unlike many of us here, he doesn’t know shit about the red pill. But deep down his actions and behaviours indeed resonate with red pill philosophy.

A few months ago, I decided to be vulnerable and open up to him on getting chicks. Back then, he dated multiple girls at once (spinning plates as we call it now) and he gave me a lot of crucial advice. Among them, the one that stood out the most was “never show a girl that you like her - maybe 40 or 50% but never fully”. It was something along those lines - but I know that he is talking about non-neediness and not being emotionally invested in a girl i.e. abundance mentality.

But that’s not the point of this post. That’s just a mini background about my dad. One thing I truly admire about him is his social skills/social confidence. Everywhere he goes he makes people laugh. 8/9 times out of 10 he ALWAYS manages to get a discount on products. How? He talks his way through it, gives the other person good emotions (provides value) and eventually they give him a discount.

He is always joking around, making small talk, being light-hearted yet dominant and everyone seems to be drawn to him when he is talking to them. I have been out many times with him and observed him in action, and it truly truly fascinated me.

TRP doesn’t teach this enough. Social skills is so important. We humans are social creatures. A million dollar mouthpiece is what we need to cultivate. A good personality is what we need to foster. We cannot forget about these things.

A problem with me is that I am usually in my shell, reserved and afraid to be light-hearted and joke around. I can be confident but it is always in a serious manner. It truly hit me today when in the car, my dad asked me why I was quiet and that I should talk (talk “bullshit” as he said) and just be more social in general.

That moment, I truly realised the power of bantering. People like to feel good emotions but everyone is always so serious these days. Everyone is so fake, with their masks on and their filters on. If you have any advice on improving this aspect of your social skills and personality, please do share.

Thank you and keep lifting, soldiers.
