If you are, and especially if you want a LTR, AWALT.

The thing is, not every woman has every problem. The reason you need to think that they are is so when something crops up you recognise it right away and act accordingly. You don't try to hamster that she's different, you deal with it appropriately.

There are some great women out there that satisfy a lot of criteria you would be looking for in a "unicorn".

If you can find a woman like this and take over as a good male role model from her father then perhaps you can make an exception. Keep in mind, women act on emotion and are reasonably fickle. If she is influenced to a greater degree by her female co-workers/friends then she may fall to the dark side. It is your job to continue to lead her.

More on this, in the sense of thinking outside the US and other western countries.
