I need help from my fellow red pillers. Before this week my social confidence was good and I thought I was a very approachable and likeable guy. I have been called charismatic, charming, funny, tall, good looking and among other things to describe my qualities (Not bragging, honest truth). However, this week my confidence has hit a crisis point and I would like to be able to expand my social circle as I have a core of good friends.

Even though I can carry a conversation well, make people laugh and generally get people to like me my personality has always been an introverted one. I keep myself to myself and I believe in having a close knit of true friends is more important than having a large group of people who will not have your back. But the problem is that I want to get out more now and social with people but I believe I have burnt bridges due to my past habit of always refusing (totally my fault).

I'm in my mid twenties now and my worry is that It might be too late to expand my circle as people tend to more or less stick with their groups or not be as welcoming.

I know this one of the few places that will give honest advice whether it is blunt or hurtful.
