So this will be short as I just want to share and get feedback on an experience I just experienced.

So, I was just in the gym and saw a girl I thought was cute. So I went up to her and told her that I thought she was cute and introduced myself. I then asked her about her major and learned she was a singer. My hamster was going fast in my head as it had been a while since I had done that, so I made the mistake and assumed she and her friend (yes she was with another person working out) wanted to get back to their workout so I ended the conversation. My goal was to just tell her that I thought she was cute and introduce myself, so I feel as if I succeeded in keeping the frame/goal by the end even if I was anxious and ended the convo sooner than I should have.

Some improvements I feel like I could implement next time:

-Talk slower and don't interrupt them when they are talking (I was nervous and did that right before I ended the convo)

-Push the frame/goal further past just talking to her and introducing myself and telling them they are cute.

-Be comfortable with a silence instead of rushing to end the convo because my hamster is going fast in my head.

Any feedback from what I wrote?
