A lot of nofap stuff I think is mostly bro science but I’m pretty sure there is a legitimate study that says testosterone levels rise for seven days not jerking it, but then goes back down after the 7th day so that’s mostly the metric I go by.

But also if you can’t go at least a few days without wanking I think you have a self control problem. The best thing about nofap IMO is that it increases your self control.

I think it is, yes.

I am on a 2 years streak. I am much more sociable( I went from avoiding people in small situations to wanting to interact everytime), my mood is better, it gives me confidence because I know I can control myself, I'm not a monkey driven by instincts. My discipline is better.

Now I would be lying if I said all these(and other) benefits are just no-fap. Yes, no fap is good, it helps. Combine that with something else (gym, working towards a clear goal, becoming better at a skill) and you're golden. It's like a compound effect.
